The Information Technology Section is responsible for the administration of Sheriff's Office computerized information systems, including computer hardware and software, networking, and various telecommunications applications.

The rapid advancements in computer technology challenge the law enforcement community to find innovative methods to ensure rapid and accurate exchange of information by optimizing present computer systems and developing strategies for future expansion in state-of-the-art technologies. The Information Technologies Section provides the resources and technical support to assist the Sheriff's Office in meeting these challenges.
